Although school buses are the primary and safest means of transporting students to and from school, there are instances where they may not be the most suitable option due to factors such as the number or specific needs of students. VGI offers sedan and van services tailored to accommodate smaller groups of students. Our vehicles include minivans with a seating capacity of 8 passengers or fewer, ensuring safe transportation for students within Wake County and near.
We prioritize the requirements of students with special needs, echoing the directives outlined by Wake County:
- Location of a qualified student is not available in the school bus route
- Special need students who must be transported along or in small groups
- Student(s) who do not live near an established school bus route
- Student(s) attending a specialty or center-based school that a school bus route does not go to
- Student(s) attending an out-of-district school
- When the cost of using a passenger vehicle is less than utilizing a school bus for the same service
